The presented footage is an impressive compilation of slides and student presentations from the 2022 EOP Summer art history presentation day held at the Fashion Institute of Technology. I am pleased to showcase the remarkable work of our students, which is a true testament to their dedication and hard work throughout the summer semester.
During the course of the semester, we had the opportunity to delve into various artistic movements, including Weston and modern art, The Renaissance, and the Baroque period. We also learned about Post-Impressionism and the works of renowned artists such as Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, and Raphael. In addition, we explored critical art vocabulary, including fresco, Pieta, contrapposto, one-point linear perspective, and sfumato.
I extend special credit for this outstanding project to Professor Robert Dufour and Professor Valen Daughtrey, who were instrumental in guiding and supporting our students throughout the semester. They have made an invaluable contribution to our students' learning experience. A heartfelt thank you to both of them for their unwavering dedication to our students.
